Escape Your Habit is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending the bad habits that prevent people from living healthy lives. We also provide them with the support they need to adopt a proper lifestyle.

 

Our vision

We help people who are stuck in bad habits and whose physical and mental health is at risk. Our goal is to serve a wide range of people suffering from illnesses caused by their unhealthy habits, including diabetes, obesity, depression, and burnout (lack of motivation).

However, in the first phase, we focus mainly on educating, inspiring, and supporting people suffering from diabetes.

What makes us unique?

Escape Your Habit does not focus on the problem itself, instead, we take a step back and try to understand the root cause.

Many root causes lie in our BAD habits.

Bad food, stress, competition, lack of exercise, not enough sleep, or lack of sun are triggers for various medical conditions. For example, depression, which can be caused by these bad habits, is not solved by sending someone to a psychiatrist and making them take pills, but by encouraging them to change their habits such as diet and exercise.

This is exactly the approach that sets us apart from other competitors. If you think that addressing the root causes and helping people deal with the problem is a perfect strategy, then we are the best partner to network and help together.

That’s why we are creating this platform where everyone, regardless of where they come from, can get all the help and resources they need to sustainably break free from the spell of bad habits.

We will be launching several initiatives in the future to ensure that these values are the foundation of ESCAPE YOUR HABIT’s work and that the vision is spread globally.

Our core values of Caring, Respect, Integrity, Trust, and Accountability describe the Who?, Why? and How? of our organization. They also provide a strong foundation for everything we do.

How Did Escape Your Habit Start?

Escape Your Habit grew out of the experiences of one man, Max. Like many people, Max was busy leading the quintessential modern lifestyle. That meant working long hours, rushing from one commitment to the next, neglecting exercise, and eating whatever was easy and convenient instead of what was healthful and nutritious.

 

Eventually, Max burned out twice. When he was at his lowest point, Max finally realized that he needed help if he was ever going to improve his situation.

 

The trouble was that Max struggled to find necessary and supportive services in his local area. Even with constant searching, Max was consistently frustrated and disappointed by bureaucracy and a lack of access to essential assistance.

 

Max eventually found the support he needed and embracing new habits focused on exercise, nutrition, and mental health went a long way toward transforming his life.

 

Still, Max was determined to do more. He felt that people shouldn’t have to struggle to find help the way that he did.

 

The idea for Escape Your Habit was born, and now Max is excited to share it with the world.
